AUBURN — Lucien Bedard of Better Homes and Gardens, The Masiello Group, has recently returned from Bangor where he completed a highly specialized course in short sales and foreclosures.

It was conducted by the Council of Residential Specialists of the National Association of Realtors. This course is one in a series of professional education sequences required to qualify for the Certified Residential Specialist designation.

Bedard has 19 years of experience working in the real estate field. He began his professional career as a revenue agent for the Internal Revenue Service after receiving a bachelor degree in accounting from Bentley College of Accounting and Finance. He had a tax practice for a few years after leaving the IRS and then devoted his time starting and operating a small business in Lewiston. In 1993, he downsized the business and started real estate full time.

A father of three and a grandfather of 6, Bedard is a native of Lewiston now residing in Turner.
