AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services department at Central Maine Community College will offer a three-part series on Internet and Social Media Marketing for Small Business.
The series will meet on three consecutive Tuesdays, April 10 through April 24, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The cost of the series is $129 for all three sessions, or individually for $49 each. Each session will be followed by open lab time where students can receive one-on-one assistance from the instructor.
The first course in the series is Internet Marketing Essentials for Small Business and Entrepreneurs. This workshop will provide participants with the essential knowledge that every small business should know about search engine optimization, email marketing, blogging, social media, and an overview on how a strategic social media marketing plan can drive potential customers to your website and, in turn, increase sales and profitability.
The second course in the series is Advance Internet-Social Media Marketing. This workshop will take a more in-depth look at some of social media’s most popular websites: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ and more.
The third and final course in the series is Measuring the Effectiveness of Internet and Social Media Marketing Plans. This workshop explores the key features of Google Analytics as a tool to measure the effectiveness of an Internet and social media marketing plan. Topics to be covered include initial set-up, individual reports generation, establishing campaign metric goals and analyzing reports.
This non-credit course is open to anyone currently working to effectively employ Internet social media as a marketing tool. Registration for this course is open and ongoing, however space is limited.
