Art Club to hear talk
AUBURN — The annual meeting of the Auburn Art Club will be held at noon Tuesday, April 3 (note change of day) at the Culinary Arts Building, Central Maine Community College.
After lunch, the annual reports will be read, then Tammie Greishaber, owner/curator of the Lyceum Gallery in Lewiston, will speak.
The gallery has replaced Gallery 5 for which she was the original curator. She has been a key player in the growing visual arts presence in the community. In addition, she is the local coordinator for Pecha Kucha nights, an evening of creative presentations.
Greishaber is a native of Missouri but has lived in Auburn for more than 40 years.
Make luncheon reservations prior to the meeting by contacting one of the officers. This is the final meeting before recessing until October.
The officers of the club are the hostesses: Bonnie Ross, president and chairwoman, assisted by Joyce Campbell, vice president; Elizabeth Bell, recording secretary; Janet Pelletier, corresponding secretary; and Louise Reynolds, treasurer.
