AUBURN — Mechanics Savings Bank announces the appointment of Mariah Robinson to vice president, retail lending manager.

Robinson will oversee all retail lending at the bank. She is responsible for growing retail mortgage and consumer lending in the surrounding markets.

During her 12-year career at Mechanics Savings Bank, Robinson has served as a teller, customer service representative, branch manager and retail banking officer.

She is an active member of the United Way and the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce. She earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration and minored in economics at the University of Southern Maine. She is a graduate of Mount Blue High School in Farmington. She and her daughter live in Lewiston.
