Samson, her husband, Jack, and son, Jack Jr., attended a reception that celebrated the new exhibit, the final installment for “Portraits & Voices: Shoemaking Skills of Generations.” Jack Jr. spoke during the reception about L.L. Bean’s connection to the Lewiston-Auburn area, the company’s boot-bottom molding operation in Lewiston and Bean’s 100th anniversary. The exhibit is scheduled to run through the end of June.
