LEWISTON — Androscoggin Bank recently announced the results of its monthlong food drive to support the Good Shepherd Food-Bank.

With a goal of collecting 1,000 pounds of nonperishable items from bank employees and friends, the final donation totaled 1,205 pounds.

To support the food drive effort, employees and friends were encouraged to donate nonperishable items at any of the bank’s 13 full-service branches across the state during March. During the bank’s Casual Friday, employees gave two cans of nonperishables in exchange for the privilege of dressing down.
