AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer an “Optimizing Smartphones and Tablets for Business” workshop.

It will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. May 23 followed by time for one-on-one instruction.

The course provides basic instruction and hands-on experience to maximize the use of technology for employees and business owners. Other topics covered include a review of key business applications available via the app store, mobile credit card processing solutions, and Documents To Go possibilities.

The noncredit course is open to Android, Apple, Blackberry and Windows platform users. The cost is $59 and will include all materials. Participants are asked to bring their own smartphone and/or tablet. Registration for this course is open and ongoing, however space is limited.
