AUBURN — The Edward Little High School Players will present Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 17; and 2 & 7 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Auburn Middle School.

The story of Macbeth takes place in Scotland and begins with three witches, played by Hayley Barton, Isabella Earle and Keegan Kane, making premonitions and casting spells foretelling the future of MacBeth becoming king.

Macbeth (played by Matt Berube) shares this information with his wife, Lady Macbeth (Ally Laverdiere), who helps to plot the murder of Duncan (Ben Davis) and his heirs. Rounding out the cast are Dylan Aspinall, Cameron Gelder, Jonathan Guy, Owen Kane, Elizabeth LaRochelle, Amber Lauze, Dylan McKenna, Matt Newbeck, Liam Webster and Lauryn Wegmann.

This adaptation is co-directed by Jen Dubois and senior Duncan Gelder.

Tickets are $5 at the door.
