LEWISTON — VIP Parts, Tires and Service, headquartered in Lewiston,  announces Darren Deschenes is its new senior merchandising analyst, effective May 29.

Deschenes has spent the past two years as manager of forecasting and reporting for JPMorgan Chase in Arlington, Texas. Prior to that, he spent time with Netrospex of New Gloucester and ING/CitiStreet of Lewiston.

His extensive knowledge and experience using servers, databases and Web applications to automate manual reporting processes will help VIP improve efficiency in reporting, pricing, merchandising and general business productivity. His responsibilities will include retail pricing, category performance analytics and other data analysis and support.

Deschenes will be relocating from Texas to his hometown of Lewiston. He is married with one child.
