LIVERMORE — Voters chose new selectpersons and a new treasurer in Tuesday’s election.
Residents elected Megan Dion with 202 votes to serve a three-year term on the Board of Selectpersons. Rodney Newman received 145 votes and incumbent Selectperson Grace Jacques received 101.
Voters elected Peter Castonguay to a two-year position on the board with 171 votes. Incumbent Selectperson Brenda Merrill received 168, Timothy Cox, 24, and Dennis Lee, 80.
They also elected a new treasurer. Cathy Lee received 226 votes to incumbent Treasurer Kurt Schaub’s 219.
Town Clerk Renda Libby who was unopposed in her quest for another two-year term, received 442 votes.
Regional School Unit 73 Director Tim Madden, also unopposed for a three-year term on the RSU 73 Board of Directors, received 406 votes.
Voters also rejected RSU 73’s $18.8 million by a 196-253 vote.
