KINGFIELD – Franklin County sheriff deputies are investigating an armed robbery at Tranten’s Too on Main Street that was reported Monday night, dispatcher Stan Wheeler said. No one was injured in the incident.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken, he said.
The robbery was reported at 7:58 p.m.
The man was described as a white male, 5-foot, 6 inches to 5-foot, 8 inches tall, and about 185 pounds. He was wearing a red bandana, black sweatshirt and blue jeans and carrying a camouflage knapsack, Wheeler said.
He also had a silver handgun, he said.
Cpl. Stephen Charles is heading the investigation.
