AUBURN — John and Patricia Worth of Belfast are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Goodridge Worth of Bath, to Corey R. Sampson, also of Bath, son of Raymond and Sonya Sampson of Auburn.

Miss Worth is a 2004 graduate of Belfast Area High School. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and  earned her master’s degree from Maine Maritime Academy’s Loeb School of International Business and Logistics in 2010. She is a purchaser for Bath Iron Works.

Mr. Sampson is a 1998 graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn and a 1999 graduate of Hebron Academy in Hebron. He graduated in 2011 from Maine Maritime Academy. He is an engineer for Sea Drill.

The couple plans a wedding in September.
