LEWISTON — Louise E. Fenderson, 86, of Lewiston, passed away on Monday, June 25, at Central Maine Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Greene, April 7, 1926, a daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie (Witham) Foster. She lived in the Greene area her whole life and attended local schools. She was married to Constant Merrick Sr. until his death. She then married her current husband, Wallace Fenderson, Sept. 4, 2004. Their marriage was then sealed forever on Jan. 1, 2006.
She was a homemaker, who dedicated her life to raising her eight children and loving and caring for her many grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, dancing and listening to country music. Most of all, she loved time spent with her large and growing family.
Louise is survived by her husband, Wallace Fenderson of Lewiston; her children: Alred Rundstrom and his wife, Linda Ann, of Vermont, Robert Rundstrom of Greene, Constant Merrick Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Buckfield, Dennis Merrick and his wife, Trudy, of North Anson, Marshall Merrick and his wife, Regina, of Greene, Bunny Maddox and her husband, Daniel, of Hartford, Nancy Martson and her husband, Harry, of Washburn, Thelma True and her partner, Larry Clowes, of West Gardiner, Thomas Fenderson of Gorham, Arthur Fenderson of Utah, and Audra Kearsay and her husband, Tim, of Eliot; 35 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; her sister, Mabel Paradis; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a very close family friend, Eva Emswiler.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Constant Merrick Sr.; three brothers; and two sisters.
