LEWISTON — If you live or work in Lewiston-Auburn, or even a 10-mile radius of Lewiston-Auburn, you are invited to send in your photos to a kind of online art exhibit.

On Saturday, Lewiston-Auburn area residents or workers are invited to send texts and phone pictures to the One Day in L/A project.

The event is sponsored by Captive Elements Art House, a Lisbon Street Visual Arts Gallery, to showcase everyday life, activities and people.

The idea is to show images of a variety of activities, a family gathering, a wedding, a birthday party, dinner, someone working at a police station, a store, a fire station, a hospital. Images could be of play, golfing or swimming. Or pictures could be portraits.

The 24-hour project is to showcase individual experiences, interactions, personalities and insights of Lewiston and Auburn, according to Captive Elements Art House’s website. The One Day in L/A project was inspired by the documentary “Life in a Day.”

Submissions opened at midnight Saturday, and will be accepted until midnight Sunday. Text a photo to [email protected] or 577-4916.
