SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — A 28-year-old Waterville woman has been charged with robbery and theft in connection with a bank robbery near the Maine Mall.
South Portland police say Jamilee Kus was arrested at 1 a.m. Sunday after being stopped on Interstate 95 in Scarborough.
Kus is accused of entering the TD Bank branch on Maine Mall Road in South Portland about 7 p.m. Thursday and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police say Kus did not show a weapon, but indicated she was armed. Police say she was seen entering the passenger side of nearby vehicle after leaving the bank.
