Howard Carroll, of Avon, and his dog Mitzy, lounge by his camper along with Bob Gobrecht of Northern Cambria, Pa., and his dog Lady at Oxford Plains Speedway on Wednesday in anticipation of this weekend’s TD Bank 250. Gobrecht’s camper was next door. Avid racing fans Carroll and Gobrecht met camping at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, N.H., a few years ago. This will be Gobrecht’s first TD Bank 250. Both men said they’re enjoying the camping and the heat while their wives are shopping. They’ve been camping there since Monday.
