WEST PARIS — Margaret Ellen Sicotte, 89, of Bryant Pond, crossed on July 16, at Ledgeview Living Center.

She was born in Berlin, N.H., Nov. 4, 1922, to Alfred and Susan (Ashley) Levesque.

She enjoyed camping at Littlefield Beaches for more than 40 years. It enabled her to connect with many friends and family from the Berlin area. She was active in the PTA , and also the extension and other organizations. She served a term as president of the American Legion Auxiliary, and was a member for 50 years.

Survivors include brothers, Joseph Levesque of Berlin, N.H., and Franklin and wife, Lorraine Levesque, of Massachusetts; sisters-in-law, Rolande and Doris Levesque of Berlin; children, Gerald W. Smith of Virginia, Susan M. Smith Ellis of Bryant Pond, Gertrude E. Smith Friel of Bryant Pond, Rebecca J. Sicotte Higginbotham and son-in-law Jack, and Louis J. Sicotte Jr. and companion, Veronica Brown; stepson, Danny Sicotte and wife, Linda, of Pemaquid; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her longtime loyal friend, Helen Radsky of New Hampshire.

She was predeceased by her parents; husbands, Laverton S. Smith and Louis J. Sicotte Sr.; brothers, Eugene, Raymond and Leo Levesque; and sistes-in-law, Betty Levesque and Denise Crodeau.

Mrs. Sicotte suffered greatly these last few months and her family is glad that she is now at peace. They shall miss her.
