PORTLAND — The parents of a Portland woman who was fatally shot more than two years ago are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of her killer.
Judi and Wayne Richardson said they are hoping the reward will encourage people who may have information about the case to come forward.
The Richardson’s 25-year-old daughter, Darien Richardson, was shot inside her apartment on Jan. 8, 2010. It initially appeared that she had recovered from her wounds, but about seven weeks later she died of a blood clot related to her injuries.
No arrests have been made in the case.
The gun used in the killing was later linked to another fatal shooting in Portland In February 2010.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call Portland police or submit an anonymous tip on the department’s Web site.
