LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Democratic Committee has selected candidates for Androscoggin County judge of probate and for the House District 75 seat.

Joshua Klein-Golden received the nomination for judge of probate at the July 19 caucus. He is currently serving in that position, having been appointed by Gov. Paul LePage to complete the term of Robert Couturier.

Katherine Ver Sluis of Sabattus was selected to run for the House District 75 seat, which covers Sabattus and Greene. Ver Sluis is a 12-year Navy veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm. She has lived in Sabattus for more than 20 years.

The caucus was held at the Lewiston Memorial Armory.

The general election is Nov. 6.
