Arrests
* Rupert Malchisky, 57, Rumford, violation of a protective order, 7:42 p.m. July 30.
* Anthony Mango, 56, no town listed, operating after suspension, 3:45 p.m. July 30. He will be arraigned on Oct. 9 in 11th District Court in Rumford.
* Ronald Hall, 23, Carthage, operating after suspension and attaching/displaying a fictitious inspection sticker, 11:56 a.m. July 30. He will be arraigned on Oct. 9 in 11th District Court.
* Aaron Patenaude, 24, Peru, operating after suspension, 2:10 p.m. July 29. He will be arraigned on Oct. 2 in 11th District Court.
Accident
* A 2005 Ford pickup truck driven by Matthew Pelletier, 36, of Dixfield, traveled from Coolidge Road and failed to stop at the Canton Point Road intersection. The truck crossed Canton Point Road and struck a utility pole, breaking it and came to rest in a pasture. Extrication equipment was needed to free Pelletier. Both Pelletier and a passenger, Michelle Pelletier, 36, were injured and taken to Rumford Hospital by Med-Care Ambulance for medical evaluation. The truck was totaled.
Thefts
* A High Street resident reported the theft of a bicycle valued at $300 at 12:38 p.m. on July 31.
* Ellis’ Variety reports a gas drive-off theft of $25.18 by the driver of a green Ford Explorer at 1:42 p.m. on July 25. No license plate available.
* An investigation began at 5 a.m. July 25 into the theft of a number of large truck radiators from Morse Road sometime in late June. Sgt. Jeffrey Howe stated Aug. 1 by email that he believes the radiators, valued at $1,500, were taken for their copper and salvage value.
