NAPLES — Jacqueline “Jackie” Michaud Blanchard of Port Orange, Fla., and Naples, passed away at the home of her daughter Brenda and husband Wayne Chaplin in Naples, July 31.

She was born in Lewiston, March 25, 1921. For many years, Jackie and her husband Roger owned and operated Blanchard’s Anchorage and Bayview Cabins located in Naples. She was a member of Twin City 160 UCT of America and a past president of the Ladies Social Club.

Jackie will be remembered for the many beautiful Afghans and sweaters she knitted for her family as well as her love and enjoyment for a game of Bingo.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda and husband Wayne Chaplin of Naples; a son Robert Blanchard and wife Diane of Auburn; a daughter Cynthia and husband Douglas Larrabee of Mechanic Falls; 8 grandchildren and spouses, 12 great grandchildren and a special family dog, Amber.

Jackie was predeceased by her husband of 58 years in April 2001; and her only sister, Constance Pleau.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice of Lewiston as well as Odyssey Hospice of Daytona Beach, Fla. The love and compassion shown

to our mother was greatly appreciated. We would like to thank three special caregivers, Winnie, Bev and Trish.
