AUBURN — Power networking will be the topic of the Wednesday, Sept. 12, meeting of the Androscoggin Chapter of the Maine Women’s Network.

The monthly meetings at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn are open to all interested. They provide networking opportunities for members to market themselves and their businesses, as well as to make personal contacts.

The September program will show attendees how to make the most of networking. Mary Bumiller of Bangor Savings will conduct a group speed networking program, similar to a program she co-created for the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber. “More Than Just Small Talk” is a facilitated forum that allows attendees to have more pointed, in-depth connections in a short amount of time.

Bumiller is a member of the Midcoast Chapter of the Maine Women’s Network and is actively involved in her community as a member the Midcoast Magnet and the Rockland Kiwanis Club. She is the associate vice president and branch manager of the Rockland Bangor Savings Bank.

The lunch will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $16 for members and $20 for nonmembers, and includes everything. Nonmembers are welcome. Members are encouraged to register their guests in advance for the member rate. Online preregistration is required by Sept. 11.
