DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Police Department handled 65 calls from Aug. 1 through Aug. 16. Among them are the following:

Arrest

* Derrik Knox, 25, Dixfield, operating after suspension and failing to stop for an officer, 8 a.m., Aug. 6. He was released on $600 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 2.

Thefts

* A Rollins Ridge Road resident reported at 4:44 p.m. Aug. 3 that someone had taken a Yamaha all-terrain vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered. Charges are pending.

* A Holt Hill resident reported at 6:59 p.m. Aug. 10 that someone had taken alcohol from his residence. Police have leads and charges are pending.

* Police are also looking for the owner of a sum of money found on High Street in April by a Dixfield police officer. To claim the money, the owner must explain what other items were dropped with it and the denomination of the bills. Please contact the Dixfield Police Department at 562-4517.
