Accidents

* A rented box truck driven by Nicholas Dresser, 32, of Denver, Col., struck a stop sign at 9:23 a.m. Monday outside Walmart on Mount Auburn Avenue. According to a police report, the stop sign Was shredded, the pole and concrete block were ripped from the ground, and the blacktop around it was broken. Damage to the 2006 Ford truck, driven by Dresser and owned by Budget Truck Funding of Denver was listed as functional.
