OXFORD — On Saturday, Daddy O’s Restaurant is hosting a benefit concert to help a local family to transport their daughter.

The concert is to benefit the family of Cheyenne Rose Pollard, 15, who uses an electric wheelchair and can’t accompany her family on trips, as they only have a car. Pollard has spinal muscular atrophy, and the family of seven only has one car.

The concert is free, and donations are accepted. Daddy O’s will offer a special dinner plate from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to benefit the family, and hot dogs, chips and soda will be on sale all day for the benefit.

There will be music by Eyes of Elisha, Dream in Purple, Exit 344, The Blacksmiths and the Lisa Gallant Seal Band. A portion of band merchandise sales will also benefit the family. The concert will run from 1 to 7 p.m.

Attendees can donate at the concert, or online at cheyenne.eventbrite.com.
