AUBURN — Theresa Arita has joined the general contracting firm H.E. Callahan Construction Co. of 2664 Turner Road, as office assistant.

Arita has more than 16 years of secretarial experience as well as her master’s degree.

Previously she worked for law offices, schools, the Department of Health and Human Services, and Bates College in Maine, and for attorneys in California.

H.E. Callahan Construction Co. has been in business since 1948 and is known for its award-winning work on the Portland Public Market and the Auburn Public Library.
