Nathan Libby would be an excellent person to represent House District 73 in the Maine Legislature because he understands the needs of small businesses, such as the ones his parents worked for while he was growing up in Norridgewock.
After moving to Lewiston and graduating from college, Libby eventually took up the cause of advocating on behalf of many businesses and self-employed workers as the director of the Maine Small Business Coalition. He has also played an important role in the campaign to achieve health care reform, which is a critical issue for our economy as a whole and deeply affects big and small businesses alike.
It has been a pleasure to serve with Nathan Libby on the Lewiston City Council, and our city would be fortunate to have him represent us in Augusta.
