PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — The Maine Red Claws will play a 50-game schedule during the 2012-13 season and will open Nov. 23 with a game at Canton, Ohio, against the Charge.

The Portland-based team will play 24 games at home, 24 on the road and two games at the NBA Development League Showcase, Jan. 7-10 in Reno, Nev.

The Red Claws open the home portion of the schedule on Nov. 30 when the Los Angeles D-Fenders make their first-ever trip to Maine, followed by a rare visit by the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Dec. 2, the team’s first trip to the league’s easternmost city since the Red Claws’ inaugural season four years ago.
