NORWAY — A 24-year-old woman injured in a crash Tuesday is in good condition at Central Maine Medical Center, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Alyssa Senecal of Norway was trapped in her car for two hours Tuesday evening after crashing her 2000 Buick into trees on Eddie Kahkonen Road shortly after 5 p.m. Rescuers from four towns worked to free her without furthering her injuries. There were no other passengers.

Firefighters from Norway, Poland, Paris and Oxford responded to the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Police said she was transported from the scene to Stephens Memorial Hospital, and from there sent to CMMC in Lewiston.
