LEWISTON — The Democratic City Committee will host a candidate meet and greet, and bean supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Franco-American Heritage Center.

The public is invited to meet the Lewiston Democratic candidates for the Legislature. Congressman Mike Michaud and U.S. Senate candidate Cynthia Dill will also attend.

The committee will also display a replica of the Maine Department of Labor mural. The original was painted by Judy Taylor and was removed by order of the governor. Its panels depict several historic scenes in the labor movement.
