OXFORD — A workshop titled “Becoming a People Person” will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at the Oxford Advent Christian Church on Route 26. The public is invited.

The purpose of the session is to help people understand, develop and gain practical skills to minister to people. The material is based on John C. Maxwell’s book, “Be A People Person,” and will be presented by the Rev. Tim Fox, pastor of the church.

The cost is $16, including the book, lunch and snacks.
