AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services department at Central Maine Community College will host a workshop for safe patient handling and movement in partnership with the MEMIC Center for Workplace Safety.

The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 19. The cost is $99 and includes all materials. Participants are eligible to receive 0.5 CEUs.

This classroom-based course is designed to provide health care professionals with knowledge and skills to prevent workplace injuries from patient handling.
