AUBURN — Percy’s Burrow, a specialty gift store in the Auburn Mall, is opening a second store at the Topsham Fair Mall in Topsham.

Owner Laurie St. Pierre said she will continue to operate the Auburn Mall store, in part because she is “hopeful and confident” that the Auburn City Council’s recent approval of a plan to construct an ice arena with two rinks in the area will bring more business to the community.

St. Pierre said the new store will be in the former Village Candle retail store at the Topsham Fair Mall and will open in time for the holidays. “After the holidays the space will be reconfigured and we will be adding a ‘book room.’ It will be about twice the size of our Auburn store,” St. Pierre said.

Percy’s Burrow offers a wide array of items, including educational wooden toys, toddler clothing, gifts for all ages, and new and used books.
