LEWISTON — George Isaacson, senior partner at Brann & Isaacson, 184 Main St., has been named chairman of the board of trustees at MaineHealth, the state’s largest family of leading high-quality health care providers.

An active member of the community, Isaacson served as vice chairman of the MaineHealth board for the past three years. He recently led the development of the organization’s strategic plan that is providing direction to MaineHealth as it looks for innovative ways to serve the health care needs of local communities.

Isaacson is currently a member of the board of trustees of the Maine Public Broadcasting Network and the Bowdoin International Music Festival. He has also served as a trustee of Maine Medical Center. Isaacson is an adjunct faculty member at Bowdoin College, where he teaches constitutional law.

He lives in Brunswick with this wife.
