FARMINGTON — BigLots! will open its new store here with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16. The store is in the Mount Blue Shopping Center, 634 Wilton Road.

The ceremony will include BigLots! executives and local officials, and store manager Jeff Hickey will present $2,500 to Mount Blue High School Principal Monique Poulin, who will accept it on behalf of the school.
