READFIELD, Maine (AP) — A state official says a report of a bomb threat at a polling place in central Maine was incorrect.

Megan Sanborn of the secretary of state’s office says her office received a report of a bomb threat being received Tuesday evening at the Readfield Town Office, which serves as the town’s polling place.

Sanborn later said the report was incorrect due to a communication mix-up.
