POLAND — The Poland Players will present the murder-mystery comedy “Merry Murders at Mountmarie” on Nov. 15-17.
The play, written by Tim Kelly, revolves around Charlie, an American TV producer who has just inherited a Swiss school for girls called Mountmarie from his aunt.
His sister attends the school, which has been in the family for generations, along with the daughters of many influential people. Charlie has a crush on the beautiful and dedicated headmistress of the school. The only problem is Charlie’s young sister and her girlfriends may be involved in the mysterious disappearance of several prominent individuals. Also, Rudi, the handsome ski instructor, isn’t quite what he seems; and Fritz, the gardener, is menacing.
The show, a combination of romance, mystery and humor, is suitable for all ages.
