AUBURN — Michelle Michaud, a resident of Auburn and an occupational therapist for the Auburn School Department, was named Maine’s Occupational Therapist Practitioner of the Year recently.

Michaud serves the Fairview and Walton schools and has a high number of cases in kindergarten to second grade dealing with early intervention, fine motor and handwriting skills.

Michaud is married and has two children.
