NORWAY — Kristin Benedix, executive director at The Progress Center, has announced the addition of Mark Ferguson to the mid-management team. Ferguson has joined The Progress Center as the manager of Children Services.

A graduate of University of Maine, Ferguson has a passion for working with children and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the program. His background in children’s services includes childcare director at the Bath YMCA, case manager at Child Development Services, supervisor at Androscoggin Head Start, as well as many years teaching elementary school.

A resident of Lewiston, Ferguson enjoys reading, working on home renovations and spending time with his grandchildren.
