WILTON — The annual Titcomb Mountain holiday auction takes place Friday, Nov. 30, at Calzolaio Pasta Co. and features a variety of items from area businesses, local artisans and community members.

The 17th annual event begins with a silent auction at 6 p.m. followed by a live auction at 7 p.m.

Some items on the auction block include day lift tickets from ski resorts, golf passes, a hand-crafted table and hand-painted pottery, a catered and delivered dinner for four, gift certificates and baked items.

A display of some items is in the front window of Calico Patch on Broadway in Farmington this week.

Those attending will also have an opportunity to purchase a raffle ticket featuring an all-weather L.L. Bean Adirondack chair, a $150 Hannaford Supermarket gift card, and a one-year combined membership (alpine/Nordic) to Titcomb for one person, valid for the 2012-13 season or the 2013-14 season.

Raffle tickets are $5. Those interested in purchasing a ticket prior to the auction should call Titcomb Mountain 778-9031. The drawing will take place at the auction on Nov. 30.

For dinner prior to the auction, call Calzolaio Pasta Co. at 645-9500 for reservations.

Sponsored by the Farmington Ski Club and the Titcomb Ski Club Educational Foundation, the  event brings the community together for a fun evening and support of the local mountain in Farmington, according to organizers.
