RUMFORD — Gone Loco! Cafe at No View Farm on South Rumford Road will be offering free space to local crafters and artists to display their handmade goods.
Crafters and artisans must live within a 50-mile radius of South Rumford, owner Annette Marin said Sunday in a news report. All products must have approval to display at her business at 855 South Rumford Road.
Many items are already available, including organic baby and mother products, handmade jewelry, hand-painted birdhouses, metaphysical supplies, energy-infused stones, knit and crocheted goods, and for a limited time, sewing supplies and material, she said.
First priority will be given to agriculturally-related crafts and items. Currently, a 24- by 16-foot space is being renovated with some shelving available.
There is “lots of wall space to display paintings, photography and other arts,” she said.
Fees are 10 percent commission withheld at time of sale. Display tables and shelves are being sought that “must be free or cheap,” Marin said.
