FARMINGTON — The Town Office reopened Friday morning, a day after being closed due to a backed-up drain in the Municipal Building parking lot, town secretary Linda Grant said.

The drain serves the whole building, including the bays for the firetrucks, she said. When the drain clogs, it creates a noxious odor.

Ted Berry Co. cleared the drain of water and silt Thursday, she said.
