On Sunday, Dec. 16 & 23, The Odd Company will present a short, comedic version of the Dickens classic, “A Christmas Carol,” filled with lively music and unexpected antics. The 10-minute productions are presented between 1 and 3 p.m., in L.L.Bean’s Discovery Park.
New to the seasonlong celebration, and continuing each night until New Year’s Eve, is L.L. Bean’s musical light show with thousands of LED lights adorning a 60-foot Christmas tree in the center of Discovery Park. At the beginning of each hour, the giant tree and all others in the park, plus surrounding buildings, come alive with a dance of light and special effects choreographed to holiday music.
