FARMINGTON — A logging truck struck a VIP tractor trailer Tuesday as it made a turn into VIP Parts, Tires and Service on Routes 2 and 4 at 464 Wilton Road.

No one was injured in the 8:30 a.m. accident as a cold, icy rain fell.

Whether road conditions affected the ability of the driver of the logging truck to stop is uncertain, said Fire Chief Terry Bell. Farmington Fire and Rescue helped Farmington Police control traffic around the scene.
