SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors announces the winners of the 2013 Business and Community Awards.

For the past 36 years, the chamber recognizes and honors business and community members in four distinct categories: Business of the Year, Employee of the Year, Rising Star of the Year and Community Service.

The 2013 Business of the Year is the Oxford Casino. The 2013 Employee of the Year is Steve Holbrook, a teacher at Oxford Hills Christian Academy. The 2013 Rising Star of the Year is ServiceMaster Fire and Water Restoration of Oxford. The company is under new ownership and thriving.

The 2013 Community Service Award Winner is the Responsible Pet Care staff. The animal shelter is open seven days a week and the staff cares for cats and dogs, many of which are abused, neglected, or sick.

All the award winners will be honored during the chamber’s 36th Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Feb. 23 at Four Seasons Function Center in South Paris. Allison Melangton, who grew up in Auburn, will be the keynote speaker.
