AUBURN — Effective January 2013, Skelton, Taintor & Abbott shareholder Michael R. Poulin begins a three-year appointment to the Fee Arbitration Commission of the Maine Board of Overseers of the Bar.

Composed of lawyers and non-lawyers, the commission arbitrates fee disputes between clients and attorneys who practice in the state of Maine. The Board of Overseers is the body appointed by the Maine Supreme Judicial Court to oversee the practice of law in Maine.

Poulin has practiced law with Skelton Taintor & Abbott since he was admitted to the bar in 1982. His practice focuses on health care and hospital law, employment and labor law.

Skelton, Taintor & Abbott has served individuals and businesses in litigation and general representation throughout northern New England for more than 150 years.
