FARMINGTON — Dr. Jan Roberts of HealthQuest Chiropractic, 383 Wilton Road, Farmington, recently received the Distinguished Service Award in recognition for faithful support and dedication to Activator Methods.

The award was presented at the Activator Methods 45th Anniversary International Conference by the co-founder Dr. Arlan W. Fuhr. A recent publication in the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine by Roberts and Tristy Wolfe was specifically recognized by this honor. It was titled “Activator-assisted Spinal Manipulative Therapy of a Geriatric Patient with Low Back Pain with Co-morbidities of Cancer, Compression Fractures, and Osteoporosis.”

Roberts is a veteran instructor with Activator Methods, having taught the technique at seminars in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia for nearly three decades. He has also served on the company’s Clinical Advisory Board since 1999.
