FARMINGTON — A tractor-trailer loaded with bottled water partially overturned on Route 27 during Thursday’s storm.
The rig was going south approaching the Route 4 intersection when the driver, Mohammed Baghdadi, 30, of Chicago went too close to the edge of the road and the trailer partially tipped over, Shane Cote, deputy chief of Farmington Police Department, said.
When the trailer was pulled upright, the load shifted and pushed out a section of wall on the trailer, he read from Sgt. Michael Adcock’s report.
The 2005 International tractor is owned by Bojan Mladenovick, also of Chicago.
No one was injured in the 4:45 p.m. incident.
Police in Farmington and Wilton reported no major accidents during the storm Thursday.
