PARIS — A scheduled meeting of the Board of Selectmen set for Monday evening has been postponed to Tuesday due to the weather.
Up for discussion are an update to board bylaws, the school resource officer program at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and whether to draft a fireworks ordinance.
The board and the policy and procedures committee discussed a potential fireworks ordinance last week. The board was split on the issue.
Also up for discussion is the possibility of Oxford County Sheriff’s Department coverage replacing that of Paris police. Selectmen Robert Wessels and Robert Kirchherr recently met with Sheriff Wayne Gallant and the county administrator to discuss the issue.
The re-scheduled meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Paris Town Office.
