LEWISTON — Downtown Handmade & Vintage on the second floor of 178 Lisbon St., above Forage Market, will hold a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 16. The public is invited to attend.

The business specializes in antiques, vintage collectibles and custom-made locally designed arts and crafts. It will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Owner Sheri Withers says the new retail space will feature vintage aprons, clothes and housewares, as well as locally designed arts and crafts, including cards, clothing, pottery, jewelry, T-shirts, toys, stuffed animals, fabric, buttons, supplies and more. In addition to the retail space, courses in sewing, crocheting, and knitting are planned shortly.
